Mazda and Toyota have produced a variety of vehicles with different types of On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) systems. One of these systems is the OBD1 system, which applies to cars older than year 2000. In Mazda and Toyota, the OBD1 connector is often a 17-pin connector.
